Wonder how come shooter thinks himself privileged to see that information?

Wonder if he ever considered that they want to present their case in a court of law and not the court of public opinion.

Shooter don't care. It's all about him and his voracious ego.

Judd Deere, was a former White House deputy press secretary. Please enlighten us, @anon_de_plume , what part of his "testimony" concerning Trump's public schedule could possibly be considered "privileged"

Oh, now we're going with a court of law, and not the court of public opinion? Well then tell us, what the fuck were all of the "leaks" while the committee did it's "investigation" but leaks intended to sway the court of public opinion?

What Shooter cares about is an open and honest investigation of what happened on January 6.
And for damn sure, we aren't going to get it from the star chamber bunch.
Not that a mindless despicable who is incapable of spewing anything but the despicable party line would be capable of seeing that.
And there are several of them right here in this forum.

LOL! Didn't read your whole screed. I've asked in the past what evidence you have that the whole of the transcript is not being released, but you've yet to ever answer, getting all mad saying something like "you don't deserve an answer", or "you need to answer me first..."

Whatever, dude! You're just too funny and predictable...

Can the lack of reading comprehension we see around here possibly be real? How can someone ask for transcripts that are linked in the story?

Well, first of all, Shooter has explained before that reading much of what @stumbler posts is a waste of time since we have learned that a post from Stumbler, especially a post from stumbler about wrong story, will be at best misleading.

But lets go with this story as posted by stumbler from yahoo/business insider.
Shooter has made the statement many times that he wants to see the actual transcript and see the evidence for himself rather than rely on anything a despicable, the media, or especially the star chamber minions claim.

And this is a perfect example.
In reading the story we learn that Donald Trump didn't know that at least part of his schedule was public. And he wanted to leave the impression that he did more than "watching TV in the adult daycare.."

And so, according to the story, he instructed staff to use a daily "boilerplate" that President Donald Trump instructed his aides to say he had "many calls and many meetings" after finding out late into his term that most of his schedule was public.

"Every evening we prepared and released a daily guidance for the following day of the President's public schedule," Judd Deere, a former White House deputy press secretary, testified to the panel, according to a transcript of his deposition, released Tuesday. "Beginning sometime around mid to late December, the President discovered that, for the first time, my understanding, that we released a public schedule of his to the public. He wanted to change the way we did that."

So now we turn to the actual transcript of Mr. Deere's testimony, specifically page 103-104:
    " upload_2022-12-30_15-10-26.png
    upload_2022-12-30_15-13-37.png

So, it turns out, that Trump was only telling staff to change the description of what he did that was released publicly each day, but notably, what Mr. Deere said that was conveniently left out was that "The president always had many calls and many meetings throughout the day. But it was standard boiler language that he had--he personally had approved that we could disseminate about his public schedule, beginning around mid to late December."

So, again, the story gives the impression that the President was given to watching TV most of the day in "adult daycare" and that no less an authority than one of his aides said so. Further that when the President actually found out much of his schedule was public, he wanted to change the image that he spent his days watching TV.

The reality is, the aide, Mr. Deere, explained why the change (The president in fact wanted to "generalize" the schedule, not make it more detailed) and that in fact the president was normally having lots of meets and making lots of calls, not watching TV.

Now can everyone understand why Shooter doesn't give much weight to what the media reports, and especially what stumbler tells us the media reports?
Because it's artful lies aimed at getting Trump, no matter what.

Now also, if one reads the transcript, one learns that on January 5 President Trump was particularly concerned that the entire day of January 6 would be a peaceful demonstration, not one like had been seen in the summer of 2020 with BLM and Antifa rioters across the nation. (transcript pages 86-87, 109). According to Deere, the last thing Trump wanted was a mob in the capital disrupting the election certification. Trump hoped that Congress would do that. But Trump noted that the crowd was angry and he wanted to make sure that there were defenses if things went violent, and he was assured that there were adequate defenses.

And in the transcript at page 133 Deere talks about the reaction on January 7 to the events of January 6, mainly that the feeling in the White House was that it was a dark day for the nation, and certainly not what was intended.

None of that made the media hit parade did it?
Even though it certainly tends to put lie to the idea that Trump wanted to see a violent overthrow of the government on January 6.
Or that his staff and supporters wanted that.
Nope, that's a despicable propaganda agenda item that this transcript tends to put a stamp of LIES to.

One final note; Throughout the transcript are leading questions about what Trump was doing on January 6 and what was happening leading up to January 6. Questions like; "But you heard that Trump was violent when he was told he couldn't march over to the capital?" and Deeres answer was No, I did not hear that or see that.

Now, we can't expect a politician like Cheney to be a polished investigator, experienced in the ways of investigation, but we can expect a committee charged with finding the truth about January 6 to not use star chamber tactics to elicit a desired response.

    Can't we?

I am seeing these kinds of posts all over the board. But I would caution everyone they cannot be believed without a link. They appear to be cherry picked and don't really say what is being claimed. There is a link for this one but I am the one who provided it.

@shootersa What did Trump hope to accomplish at the Jamn 6th "Save America Rally? What did the "stop the steal" signs mean? Why was the crowd angry? Why did the crowd become a mob?

Any ideas? or are you going to run away again? :O_o:

You keep thinking in your arrogance that Shooter has any kind of obligation to answer any of your stupid questions.
He does not, and he will not.
If it pleases you to call that "running away" you do that.

In fact, what Shooter is doing is dismissing you and your stupid questions.

Why did Trump call Putin to congratulate him on winning a sham election in 2018?

"The Russian leader was elected to a third six-year term with about 75 percent of the vote after a campaign in which rival candidates were excluded and even arrested, and during which state-controlled media showered praise on Putin. “Sham elections for a dictator.” -Freedom House, nonpartisan watchdog.

Just to correct the record this story is accurate. The story is about Trump only finding out in the last weeks of his presidency that part of his daily schedule is public and demanding a boilerplate change in the wording to make it look like he was having many meetings and making many phone calls. When the meetings could have been with WH wait staff to bring him another Diet Coke and the phone calls to Hannity to tell him what he was watching on
    TV.

And I also stand by my own statement.

Trump watches up to eight hours of TV per day: report

President Trump spends at least four hours a day watching television, according to a new report.

People close to Trump told The New York Times that Trump spends at least that much time in front of a TV each day, and sometimes spends as many as eight hours watching television.

The Times reports that Trump begins each day around 5:30 a.m. by turning on CNN before quickly flipping to Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.” He occasionally watches MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” because it works him up, Trump’s friends told the Times.

    {mosads}

Trump’s favorite programs include “Fox & Friends” as well as Fox News primetime shows from Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and Jeanine Pirro. Trump sometimes “hate-watches” CNN host Don Lemon, according to the report.

The Times also reports that the only people allowed to touch the remote control for the White House television are Trump and White House technical support staffers.

During his trip to Asia last month, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he doesn’t watch much television at the White House because he’s busy “reading documents.”

“Believe it or not, even when I’m in Washington or New York, I do not watch much television,” Trump said. “People that don’t know me, they like to say I watch television — people with fake sources. You know, fake reporters, fake sources.”

“But I don’t get to watch much television. Primarily because of documents. I’m reading documents. A lot,” Trump continued. “I actually read much more — I read you people much more than I watch television.”

The Times reports that Trump told reporters about his TV-watching habits after the newspaper presented the White House with a long list of fact-checking questions, including one about how often he watches television.

Trump has previously insisted he has “very little time for watching TV,” though he often tweets about Fox News and CNN segments just after they air live.

Trump also had a 60-inch flat screen TV installed in his private White House dining room, according to Time magazine.

      "Stand" all you want.
The transcripts so far released by the star chamber bunch put lie to the claim that Trump spent his days watching TV. That his reason for changing the wording of the daily schedule was somehow nefarious. That he wanted a violent insurrection on january 6.

Trump lashes out at Facebook — claims they lost '80 billion' in value because they kicked him off over Jan. 6

On Monday, Donald Trump sent off a flurry of posts on his Truth Social account, lashing out at border security, Ukraine and Facebook --all within a 30-minute period.

The former president -- whose only online presence is on his struggling Truth Social since he has yet to take Elon Musk up on his offer to allow him back on Twitter -- kicked off the morning with a no-context post where he wrote: "'TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING' One of most often used current phrases or statements. Wow, such a magnificent compliment. Thank you!" --- and then he was off and running.

Next came complaints about the border where he proclaimed, "... our beautiful USA is being poisoned from within."

In total, he wrote, "Our Southern Border is far beyond HORRIBLE. There is no Country in the World that has such atrocious, unsafe, and disgusting conditions at their Border. We are worse than any Third World Nation! Just think, two years ago we had the safest and most stable Border in U.S. history. Criminals and Drugs entering our once great Country were at a decades low… And now, our beautiful USA is being poisoned from within, a Nation in DECLINE. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and Fast!"

IN OTHER NEWS: Ginni Thomas' testimony to Jan. 6 committee sparks calls to investigate Clarence Thomas

Next came complaints about assisting the people of Ukraine as they fight off the Russian invasion, with the former president snarling, "When I was President I made Member Nations pay up all of the money they weren’t paying to NATO. The U.S. was footing almost the entire NATO bill, and I quickly put a stop to that. Hundreds of billions of Dollars were then rapidly paid by those 'delinquent' nations. The Secretary General of NATO said it was AMAZING what President Trump had done. Thank you, but here we go again! The good old USA 'suckers' are paying a VAST majority of the NATO bill, & outside money, going to Ukraine. VERY UNFAIR!"

Trump also claimed that Facebook's financial decline was precipitated by his being booted from the social media platform over the Jan. 6 insurrection that he set off by speaking at a "Stop the Steal" rally.

According to Trump, "Facebook has lost over 80 Billion Dollars in Value since 'deplatforming' President Donald J. Trump. Also, it has gotten very BORING and UNINTERESTING. That stupid, unnecessary, and probably illegal move is now considered a major business mistake. I agree!"

This is also an example of Trump's tweets and video message on J6. If he was going to do anything he wanted to spur the insurrectionists on. But he was surrounded by people who kept screaming he had to do something to call them off. So his first tweet was to attack Mike Pence. They all screamed that was not good enough. So his inner circle forced him to make more tweets. Until he finally after hours he finally told the domestic terrorists he loved them and to go home.

And the same with his video message that day and this one the next day. Trump wasn't going to do it but his inner circle told him he if didn't he would be removed from office under the 25th Amendment.

But just take a look at this mentally ill child.

Trump delayed filming Jan. 7 video declaring he'd leave White House by requesting non-stop Diet Cokes: report

On the day after his supporters ransacked the United States Capitol building, former President Donald Trump released a video announcing that he would be leaving the White House and that then-President-elect Joe Biden would be taking over.

However, outtakes released by the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riots showed that Trump was reluctant to read from the script he had been given, and refused to say that the 2020 election was over even as he prepared to leave the White House.

And as newly released testimony flagged by Politico's Kyle Cheney shows, Trump's reluctance to concede he would be leaving extended beyond what the House Select Committee showed in its hearings.

Specifically, former Trump White House photographer Shealah Craighead told the committee that Trump would repeatedly deploy what she viewed as stalling tactics during the filming of the video.

IN OTHER NEWS: New House GOP plan could 'effectively gut' Office of Congressional Ethics

"His agitation of stopping and starting the conversation was based on asking for Diet Cokes several times, or stopping to take a sip and then starting again, immediately stopping and taking another sip and then starting again, reading some of the scroll, and then asking for a new Coca-Cola, or needing a towel to wipe his head or something," she explained.

Craighead then told the committee that it seemed as though Trump wanted to do anything he could to not film the video.

"It was just there is anything -- you know, as you procrastinate, you're finding anything to... not to do what you have to do," she explained. "Anything that he could procrastinate with before getting the words out he would do."
