Blood Father (2016)

Blood Father (2016 Movie – Mel Gibson, Erin Moriarty) - Official Trailer

Mel Gibson stars in Blood Father, a French action crime thriller delivered in the English language, based on the Peter Craig novel of the same name. When John Link (Gibson) learns that his daughter Lydia (Erin Moriarty) has become a drug addict and alcoholic caught up with a dangerous gang, he’s gutted. An ex-convict and recovering alcoholic himself, he has the means to protect her following the accidental murder of her gang member boyfriend Jonah (Diego Luna).

Believing that Lydia is safer with him than the police, John goes on the run with his daughter, using his connections and violent style to protect her at all costs. Earning a Certified Fresh Rotten Tomatoes rating, fans of The Boys will love seeing Moriarty in one of her earlier roles.

24 Hours to Live (2017)

24 Hours to Live Trailer #1 (2017) | Movieclips Trailers

Add an element of sci-fi to the mix with this action thriller about Travis (Ethan Hawke), an assassin who is killed but temporarily brought back to life for 24 hours to exact revenge on those who have wronged him. He escapes, taking the doctor who is supposed to kill him once he does the deed, and sets out to complete his plan, all as a timer on his wrist ticks the minutes away that he has left.

An intense film, 24 Hours to Live earned mixed reviews but makes for a fun popcorn flick thanks to plenty of high-speed car chases, explosions, and gun fights. Danny King of Village Voice sums it up nicely: “This is mostly entertaining ridiculousness, threaded together by the reliable Hawke.”

Memory (2022)

Memory | Official Trailer | At Home on Demand

Liam Neeson always delivers the goods in action movies, and Memory is no exception. In this action thriller, Neeson plays Alex Lewis, a contract killer suffering from early-onset Alzheimer’s. He travels to Texas, where he is to carry out the murder of a man, but gets caught in the mix of the kidnapping of a young girl by a sex trafficker.

Memory is filled with bloodshed and aching moments as Alex tries desperately to escape the danger he’s in while dealing with his worsening symptoms. One of the best thrillers on Amazon Prime Video right now, Memory didn’t go over well with critics, but audiences love a good Liam Neeson character.

5 movies leaving Netflix in March 2025 you have to watch now
Matt Damon wields a gun in Elysium.

March has been a solid month for new additions on Netflix. Despite the poor reviews, the latest movie from the Russo Brothers, The Electric State, is one of the most popular movies on the streamer. Meanwhile, heist fans will appreciate Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, the action-packed sequel starring Gerard Butler and O'Shea Jackson Jr.
While those two movies will remain on Netflix for the foreseeable future, a select group won't be on the service much longer. From now until the end of March, try watching one of these five movies before they leave the service for good. Our picks include a heist comedy, a sci-fi thriller, and a Nolan masterpiece.

Baby Driver (2017)

Edgar Wright makes stylish movies. From the infectious music and zany humor to the kinetic energy and fast-paced action, Wright's signature method is on full display in all of his films. The titular character in Baby Driver might be one of Wright's coolest characters. Baby (Ansel Elgort) loves two things: music and cars. Baby works as a getaway driver for Doc (Kevin Spacey), the mastermind behind the heists.

5 movies leaving Amazon Prime Video in March 2025 you have to watch
Will Smith and Gene Hackman side by side in an elevator, both looking angry in Enemy of the State.

Every month, movies come and go on Amazon Prime Video. You might find something you want to watch one month only to realize that it’s already gone the next. This isn’t to say that every movie has a 30-day shelf life. Many movies on Amazon Prime Video are available for much longer, sometimes years. But how do you know? You don’t, unless you check for warnings that a movie is leaving soon (which aren't always there). That's a lot of work. So let us do it for you.
With this selection of five movies leaving Amazon Prime Video in March 2025, we’re highlighting several fantastic films worth watching before they’re gone. One is a great movie to watch if you want to honor the late, great Gene Hackman; it's one of his best films from the late '90s.

Enemy of the State (1998)
Enemy of the State (1998) Trailer #1 | Movieclips Classic Trailers
Sadly, we lost Gene Hackman this year, one of the greatest actors of our time. Relive one of his many great movies, Enemy of the State, in which he stars alongside Will Smith. Hackman is Edward “Brill” Lyle, a talented surveillance expert who frequently works with labor lawyer Robert Clayton Dean (Smith). When Dean finds himself in hot water while working a case against a mob boss that involves the NSA and threatens citizens, he reaches out to Brill for help.
The chemistry between Hackman and Smith is solid in Enemy of the State. The movie was a box office success and earned positive reviews, with critics lauding its writing, direction, and the talented lead cast. If you're looking for a good Hackman film to remember his fantastic film legacy, this one is a good choice before it's gone from the streamer.

Rampage (2018)
RAMPAGE - OFFICIAL TRAILER 1 [HD]
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might be making appearances in WWE right now, but he’s still one of the biggest action movie stars with an impressive resume of films, including this one. A sci-fi monster movie, Rampage is about a pathogen that escapes from a space station and makes its way to George (motion captured by Jason Liles), a rare gorilla who grows larger and more menacing. His human friend Davis (Johnson), a former Special Forces soldier who saved George from poachers, must now work with doctor Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris), who originally developed the pathogen, to try and save George from government capture.
While Rampage received mixed reviews, it was a box-office success. Classify this one as a popcorn flick to watch on a lazy night at home when you just want to turn your brain off and be entertained with stunning visuals and thrilling action sequences.

Two Night Stand (2014)

Who wants a one-night stand when you can do two nights instead? Unfortunately for Megan (Analeigh Tipton) and Alec (Miles Teller), this idea of a two-night stand becomes a reality. Struggling to move on from her ex-fiancé, Megan joins a dating website and decides to have a one-night stand with Alec. The morning is incredibly awkward, but at least Megan can leave the apartment and go home.
That is until Megan tries to open the door to the outside and cannot leave due to a blizzard. Forced to spend more time together, Megan and Alec open up and enjoy each other's company. The snow dies down, and Megan eventually leaves, but these one-night standers might have a genuine connection. Two Night Stand is predictably delightful thanks to the chemistry between Tipton and Teller.
